The dust has finally settled on the mysterious advertising space on the chest of Chelsea's jersey this season. The Blues have reportedly signed a sponsorship deal worth up to £40 million (HK$390 million) with sports data giant Infinite Athlete, as exclusively revealed by the Daily Telegraph. Once this news broke, Premier League officials were quick to approve the partnership as well. Unsurprisingly, Chelsea will make their debut in the Premier League away match against Fulham in the early hours of October 3 wearing jerseys emblazoned with the Infinite Athlete logo.

Although Chelsea has spared no expense in attracting reinforcements in recent years, it has not been able to finalize a sponsor for the chest advertisement this season, which has undoubtedly increased the pressure on the club's financial situation. Now, this new deal is undoubtedly a timely rain for Chelsea, which is a great relief for the club.
