A generation of soccer superstar Osl, after announcing his retirement in March of this year, has suddenly come with the shocking news that he may be about to return to soccer in another capacity. The 34-year-old German legend is reportedly set to join the Turkish national team in the important role of general manager. Meanwhile, the Turkish Football Association is also planning to hire former German national team leader Löw to take the helm.
The Turkish side have had a decent run in the Europa League qualifiers, currently sitting in second place in their group and having locked up an early berth in the play-offs. However, they suffered a disappointing 2-4 defeat against Japan in a recent warm-up match. According to Picture Post, the Turkish FA has contacted Osl to take over as manager of the national team, and Loew is expected to be the new leader.
