Arsenal FC has been in a flurry of transfer action recently, with contract extensions for the main squad. Not long ago, captain Martin Odegaardt extended his contract with the club until 2027, and this news was followed by the imminent renewal of defense stalwart Bienvenido's contract. Although the 25-year-old England international still has three years left on his contract, the club has already shown its eagerness to extend his contract early, a move that undoubtedly emphasizes the central position of Brivet in the mind of manager Altit.

Binwet joined Arsenal from Brighton in the summer of 2021 for a transfer fee of £50 million (about HK$490 million) and quickly solidified a starting position. He is technically versatile enough to play as both a center back and a right back and is therefore trusted by Altit. According to the UK's Daily Mail, Arsenal can't wait and are ready to start negotiations for Binwet's contract extension and are expected to offer a significant pay rise as a reward, with Binwet currently earning £120,000 (about HK$1.17 million) a week.
