Liverpool were away to Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday the 16th. The Reds suffered a setback at the start of the match and were unlucky to concede the first goal. However, they didn't give up and equalized with a goal from Gapp. As the game progressed, a combination of Andrew Robathan and an opponent's own goal gave Liverpool a 3-1 victory. Mohamed Sana orchestrated all three goals to help his side secure all three points and four wins and a draw so far this season.
Liverpool were without Wahkil Yundjak and Alexandre Arnault for this match, with Zukomis and youngster Chavi Goansah partnering at the back. Despite the shaky backline, Wolves were able to make good use of quick counter-attacks by Hwang Hee Chan, Berdunitu and Mathias Gencia. Wolves seized the opportunity soon after the start, when Pak Toi Nitu crossed from the left and Wong Hee Chan scored easily to take a 1-0 lead. Berdunitu had a strong performance, but the Reds' defense was exhausted but failed to extend the lead, and Mathias Gencia also missed the chance to extend the lead.
Liverpool didn't have a decent attack until the 37th minute when Gapp shot wide of the goal. Before the end of the first half, Mohamed Shana and Suboslal fired in consecutive shots but failed to break through the Wolves defense.
In the second half, Liverpool brought on Luis Diaz, and the game changed immediately. Diego Zuda sent a direct ball to Sanaa and Gap scored in front of the goal to make it 1-1 in the 55th minute, and then Davin Nunes and Javi Avello were brought on to strengthen the attack, and in the 85th minute, the Reds pushed the ball forward, and Sanaa made his second assist of the game, and Andrew Robson completed the rebound to make the score 2-1.
