La Liga has taken a turn for the worse with the peach scandal! Three players from Real Madrid's youth team have been arrested by police on Thursday (14th) for allegedly distributing intimate videos of underage girls, the Spanish newspaper Confidential has revealed. Real Madrid officials confirmed that the three arrested players are from the reserve and C teams, but it is rumored that the case has a wider scope, even including Real Madrid's first-team players, are suspected of involvement.
The Confidential revealed that the victim was 16 years old and her mother reported the incident to the police on the 6th of this month. The victim claimed to have voluntarily had sex with one of the Real Madrid players without knowing that the other was filming. The incident took place in June this year and the victim did not learn until recently that the player had shared the video with his teammates on whatsapp.
Police launched an operation on Thursday and arrested three players, with Real Madrid later releasing a statement confirming that one of the reserve team players and two of the C-team players had been arrested, another C-team player was assisting in the investigation, and that the cell phones of those involved had been seized. According to Confidential, police suspect the case involves more players, which may include Real Madrid's first-team players. Real Madrid's reserve team is currently competing in the Western C League, with the legendary Rohr as the team's head coach.
