Irish soccer's bright new star, Brighton's Evan Ferguson, has recently suffered an unfortunate knee injury that has left him with a gap in his international schedule and out of the UEFA Nations League showdowns with France and Holland. It is expected that the 18-year-old marksman will return to action when Brighton travel to Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday.

Evan Ferguson, who is now in his third season with Brighton, contributed 10 goals in 25 games last season and has come into his own at the start of this season, scoring four goals in his first four games, including three in a row against Newcastle. Despite the onslaught of injuries, he has recovered surprisingly quickly thanks to his youth.
