Lyon Football Club officially announced that it has reached an agreement on the termination of the contract with coach Brancus, a decision that marks the end of their less than one year of cooperation. In view of the former Chelsea manager Park Da's invitation to Lyon declined, according to the French media Footmercato revealed that the Italian manager Gaduso is expected to take over the baton to become the new head coach of Lyon.
The 57-year-old Blancs won the Premier League, the World Cup and the UEFA Nations Cup during his playing days. After his transition to coaching, he also led Bordeaux and Paris Saint-Germain to win many awards in Ligue 1 and other leagues. In October last year, Blanc took over the coaching of Lyon and finished seventh in the league last season.
