Despite Manchester United's poor record and negative news this season, its commercial value is still not to be underestimated. According to the British Sun newspaper, Manchester United has signed an advertising sponsorship agreement with the American semiconductor giant Qualcomm, will be in the new season shirt chest position to get 60 million pounds (about 590 million Hong Kong dollars) sponsorship, this amount almost touched the Real Madrid "most expensive heart" record.

Currently, United's sponsor is German tech firm TeamViewer, who signed a five-year partnership deal in 2021 for £47 million a year. In December last year, the two teams agreed a release agreement to buy back their chest advertising space and join forces with a new partner once United had found a new sponsor.

Manchester United has reportedly entered into a partnership with Qualcomm to display the logo of Qualcomm subsidiary Snapdragon on the chest of its jerseys for the new season, with sponsorship costing 60 million pounds a year, second only to Real Madrid's annual sponsorship of 80 million euros (about HK$670 million).
