Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have lost stars such as Mays and Nima this summer, and now another central midfielder, Marko Valenti, has also announced his departure. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian international has been confirmed to join Qatari side Al Arabi.

The departure of Marco Valiante has been rumored for a long time, and he was speculated to be heading to Saudi Arabia, but the local transfer window has closed recently without any new movement. Now, the 30-year-old Italian star has opted to join Qatari side Al Arabi for a transfer fee of €45 million (HK$380 million), and will only need to pass a fitness test before signing.

In the summer of 2012, Mago Valiante joined PSG from Serie B side Pescara, and has played for the giants for 11 years now, making 416 appearances and scoring 11 goals. However, in recent years his form has declined significantly, coupled with rumors of his frequent partying and lazy attitude, which caused dissatisfaction among new coach Anriki, eventually leading to his abandonment by the club.
