The team doctor revealed that Sascha's injuries stemmed from repeated muscle damage accumulated from his previous spell in the first team.
Galatasaray team doctor Yener Ince further explained that although Sascha insisted on playing even with injuries in order to keep Crystal Palace's Premier League spot last season, contributing seven goals and two assists throughout the season to help the team successfully stay in the division, it also brought him a full body of injuries.
