Premier League giants Chelsea seem to have suffered a string of misfortunes this season. Newly signed French shot-stopper Nicholas Negancourt unfortunately sustained a serious injury during pre-season warm-ups, while unexpectedly, Belgian midfielder Romeo Olavia, who was brought in for a whopping 58 million pounds (HK$580 million) last month, suffered a second injury during training during an international tournament. It is reported that his ankle injury is serious and he is feared to be out of action for a long time.

At just 19 years of age, Romeo Olavia is yet to represent Chelsea following his move from Southampton. Originally, the plan was to play as a defensive midfielder after the international break in order to free up players such as Mosiska to take advantage of the attack. However, a training accident in a recent international tournament saw him leave the field with an injury, rumored to be a possible torn ankle muscle. Chelsea have scheduled a detailed examination for him, but according to The Sun UK, the coaching staff have already begun to prepare for the worst case scenario.
