This summer, Turkish soccer powerhouse Galatasaray has quietly taken the world by storm. Not only did they sign soccer stars such as Vefeet Shah and Xueyeji, but they are also rumored to be interested in bringing free agent Shahri Olamos into their fold. The Spanish center back, who is awaiting a contract from the club, is expected to play in the Europa League again.
According to Spanish media outlet Fichajes, both Galatasaray and Bisidas are interested in offering Shaji Olamos a contract. Since the expiration of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, 37-year-old Shaji Olamos has turned down offers from Saudi Arabia, the US Pro League and South American clubs, and seems to have a penchant for the European stage. Galatasaray are currently battling it out in the UEFA Europa League playoffs, and a success in the group stage would appeal to Shaji Olamos far more than Batthy Das.
