With the player reportedly having given his consent to the transfer and personal terms having been negotiated, everything seems to be moving swiftly towards the completion of the deal, which is expected to be finalized before the transfer window closes.
It is reported that transfer market expert Romano revealed that Meduku was also the target of Westham, another strong team in the Premier League. However, City showed their usual decisiveness and efficiency by quickly reaching a personal agreement with him in early August. The 21-year-old midfielder has decided to join City and has made a clear transfer request to Rennes.
