As a fan, I am naturally excited to witness such a big game, however, the coaches of the two teams will have a headache on how to line up their troops, but for Pep Guardiola, this may not be a difficult task.
Despite winning the UEFA Super Cup in midweek, the players were ultimately defeated by Sevilla on penalties, which was quite physical. An injury to central midfielder Chivan Dibny added uncertainty to this crucial battle for the top spot. Thankfully, another young player, Golpenma, performed well and provided support to the team. Despite the departure of Malles and Dibny's injury which could have theoretically filled the void, the England U21 international felt short of playing time and was tempted to go.
