Despite frequent farewells to their core players in recent years, White Leighton's on-field performances continue to be marvelous. In last Saturday's away game, they swept aside Wolverhampton Wanderers by a score of 4-1, showing great explosive power. Japan international Kaoru Mitabiwa was the king of the game, scoring a "Mays-style golden goal" and making a brilliant assist, and with the 26-year-old wing forward's outstanding performance, he could very well be the next Brighton player to join the giants.

This summer, Brighton lost two midfielders, Alex McAlexander and Moses Scarcitto, but it didn't affect the team's overall performance. After beating Luton 4-1 last time, they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers again with the same score, winning both matches and scoring only two goals less than Manchester City. Crystal Palace's clash with Arsenal doesn't start until the early hours of Tuesday morning, leaving Brighton top of the table for the first time in the top flight "overnight".

Credit to Sanjel Kaoru for Brighton's back-to-back big wins. He had already contributed an assist in the last game against Luton. Only 15 minutes into this game, he skillfully got away from four Wolves players in a personal breakthrough and calmly shot the ball into the net, a shot that was similar to that of Meis.
