Towards the end of the summer, former England international, Wojcott, 34, announced the end of his playing career with a surprise post on social media platforms. The former Southampton star made the momentous decision on Friday (18).
Wojtek started his career at Southampton in 2005, and before he had even crossed the age of 17, he moved to Arsenal for a whopping 12 million pounds (HK$120 million), and began a 12-year career at the Arsenal, where he scored 108 goals for the team. After leaving Arsenal, he moved to Ewarton and returned to Southampton in 2020. However, after his contract expired following the team's relegation last season, Wojcott chose to bid farewell to the game.
