The Brighton club have made a splash in the money-spinning transfer market with the sale of Moses Scarcitto and are now on the hunt for a new midfielder. They are said to have set their sights on 19-year-old Lille Cameroon starlet Bareba, whose transfer fee of just €5 million (HK$42.8 million) is a fraction of the former.
Chelsea beat Liverpool in a tight race to sign Moses Katsidou for a record £115 million (HK$1.15 billion) in a deal that has seen the Premier League transfer record set once again. In reality, however, Kasidou was worth just £3.6 million (HK$36 million) two years ago, and the Seagulls are now preparing to re-enter the market in search of new business opportunities after making a handsome profit.
