On the eve of the Premier League weekend's marquee match between Chelsea and Liverpool, the transfer market is abuzz. The battle between the two sides over Brighton midfielder Moses Scarborough has been intense. On Friday, Liverpool leader Gopp announced the agreement with Brighton at a press conference, however, Moses Katsidou immediately released a statement expressing his preference for Chelsea. According to inside sources, Chelsea will throw out a record transfer fee of £115 million (HK$1.15 billion) on Saturday (12), with the intention of locking up the central midfielder with this record-breaking offer and hitting Liverpool's defense directly.

Earlier, Reds fans were jubilant when Liverpool won the agreement of Whiteleyton with an offer of £110 million (about HK$1.1 billion). However, the situation was reversed in an instant with the statement of Moses Scarcido. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Chelsea will launch a new offer, which will exceed Liverpool's offer, and the rumored figure is exactly that jaw-dropping £115 million, which is expected to rewrite the record of the highest transfer fee in the Premier League once again.
