Everton, fresh from a thrilling relegation battle, are planning to expand their strengths ahead of the new season. They are making an all-out effort to bring in Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star striker Iggy Dicky on a rent-and-buy deal of up to £30 million (HK$300 million), which is undoubtedly a significant investment for Everton.
This summer, Everton only signed Ashley Younger as a free agent, while Villarreal winger Gorny Witte's transfer fee was only £2.6 million (about HK$26 million). Recently, the team has been actively pursuing Igidić, which is regarded as an important reinforcement for this season. It is reported that both sides are in deep talks and Everton hope to succeed in signing the powerful striker before Dortmund.
