A new star is on the horizon for Manchester United, in the form of Denmark's Herlandt. United's technical director, Gustian Allison, has spoken highly of the up-and-coming striker, describing him as a "very talented No.9", but he seems to be under-recognized by the rest of the world.

In a recent interview, Eriksson unpacked the qualities of Horan in detail, saying, "What kind of player is Horan really? He is a top class number 9, who has made impressive progress in just one year with the national team and is very strong. But unfortunately, he is only known in Danish soccer circles at the moment, and is under-recognized by the outside world, largely due to the fact that Danish soccer doesn't get much attention globally."

Eriksson further added, "Horant has grown at a very fast pace and he has managed to get his feet wet with the national team. Although I haven't seen too many of his matches at Atlanta, I have some idea of his style of play and have learned a lot at Atlanta."
