Manchester United have taken a tough stance on the transfer of midfielder Harry Magooni and despite Westham targeting the England international with an offer of up to HK$200 million, the United side have firmly rejected it, insisting on a transfer fee floor of at least HK$350 million.

Westham manager David Moyes is intent on bringing in an experienced center back to stabilize the back line, and Harry Magooni is the man he is targeting. However, due to financial budget constraints, Westham could only offer £200 million. It is worth noting that United had brought in Magouni from Leicester City for £85 million in 2019, so they are not willing to lose too much money on the transfer. United were adamant about a transfer fee of at least HK$350 million and refused to loan out Magouni, preferring only to sell outright. This makes Moyes' desire to bring in Magouni extremely difficult.
