Insiders say that Fulham's top striker Alexandre Mizouwick has made up his mind that he no longer intends to play for the Premier League side. His decision is aimed at forcing the Fulham club to accept an offer from Saudi Arabian giants Hilal, thus pushing him to the green fields of the Middle East.

It has been revealed that Hilal initially made a bid of £25.5 million (about HK$258 million) for the 28-year-old Serbian international, but it was rejected by Fulham. Hilal then upped the offer again but remained unsuccessful as Fulham insisted on a transfer fee of at least £52 million (about HK$526 million), a price that is £30 million (about HK$303 million) higher than what Mizunuwi bought the player for five years ago. Faced with such a greedy club's stance, Mizunoiwu, eager to strike gold in the Middle East, gradually lost patience.

Given Mizunochi's determination, he even refused to take part in the team's pre-season warm-up matches to avoid an injury that could jeopardize his transfer prospects. Mizuno has made 205 appearances for Fulham, scoring 111 goals, including 14 goals in the Premier League last season, a remarkable performance. However, in the face of Mizuno's "strike" protests, it remains to be seen whether the club will change its strategy and facilitate his transfer as soon as possible.
