Despite my extreme disappointment, I will give it my all as long as I wear the Manchester United shirt. I would like to thank the fans for their endless support during my captaincy. From the moment I accepted this task three and a half years ago, leading Manchester United as captain has been the greatest honor of my soccer career... I will be eternally grateful to Suskecha for giving me this opportunity and I will wish and support the next captain to succeed."

Harry Magooni was "outraged, shocked and saddened" by the decision, and his statement did not refer to "Tannhäuser", but rather to "the leader", instead referring directly to the former Instead, he directly referred to former team leader Suskecha. According to the report, Harry Magouni has always wanted to stay at United to fight for a starting position, especially in the new season to face the Champions League, there will be more opportunities. But this captaincy fiasco may have made him reconsider his future, and United's next captain will reportedly be Benny Fernandes.
