Bayern Munich's recent moves in the transfer market have sparked renewed interest. German magazine Kicker has revealed that the Bayern hierarchy have reportedly thrown their weight behind a possible move for 31-year-old Senegalese striker Shadio Vinny to Saudi giants Ainas, a move that would mean he could play alongside Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Recalling reports from Sky Sports, Bayern are open to a move for Shadio Vinny and are even willing to broker a deal for the low price of £17 million (about HK$174 million). The potential buyer of the player is said to be none other than Ainas from Saudi Arabia. In addition, Kicker also revealed that Bayern coach Ducao has agreed to let Shadio Vinny go and said that he will not be considered in the preparation program for the new season. Representatives of Ainas have been in contact with the Bayern management and Shadio Vinny himself, and it seems that a transfer agreement is on the cards.
However, Shadio Vinny picked up just 12 goals in 38 appearances for Bayern last season, during which time he was also penalized by the club for accidentally injuring teammate Lilezini. This series of events has made him a favorite on Bayern's sell list.
