In the height of summer, Arsenal FC splashed out over £200 million (HK$2.046 billion) to sign three strong players in Dylan Rice, Xaviers and Zulian Timba. The team embarked on a tour of the United States on Sunday (16), with all of the new signings in tow, however, midfield centerpiece Thomas Berdy was not on the list. He is rumored to be in talks with Saudi Arabian clubs for a transfer and may soon bid farewell to the team.

New signings Deeglan Rice and Zulian Timba are both ready to go, however, there are still a number of players who have failed to make the squad, with last season's loan signings Sambir Luganga, Nicolas Bibi, Sheddie Sollars and Nuno Tevaris falling out of the squad seemingly as expected. However, Thomas Birdie has been tagged as "expected to return in a week" along with Imeruo Vi, who has just finished the U21 Europa League, a move that has sparked a lot of speculation about transfers.
