Recently, a number of sports media such as The Athletic have revealed that Liverpool soul Jordan Henderson is set to accept an offer from Saudi super club Ittifaq. The club has recently hired the famous manager Sherat and offered an annual salary of up to £700,000 (about HK$7.12 million), which is very tempting for the 33-year-old midfield star. With such attractive terms, the decision to move on seemed logical. However, Jordan Henderson, who was a vocal critic of human rights issues in Saudi Arabia and Qatar last year, has been accused of "betraying his soul" by some fans.
Sherratt's first goal after joining Ittifaq is to convince Jordan Henderson to join the club.
