The arch-rivals Mexico and Costa Rica meet again in a heated CONCACAF Gold Cup clash. The two sides have clashed in World Cup qualifying, the Central American and Caribbean Football League and the last CONCACAF Champions League. It's worth noting that in the last four meetings, neither side scored more than two goals, and two of the knockout matches had to be decided on penalties.
Although Mexico is regarded as the favorite to win the Gold Cup, Costa Rica's tough defense should not be underestimated. Mexico may not be able to win easily if they are defending at full strength, and the match will probably go to extra time. Therefore, a narrow goal seems to have a certain degree of confidence.
