In the Championship, Wakeford captain Tom Cavalli, plagued by injuries, recently officially announced his retirement, ending a 15-year career. As soon as this news came out, not only Wakeford officials, even the official website of Manchester United have expressed their heartfelt blessings to this former youth training camp elite.
Tom Cavalli, the pride of Manchester United's youth camp, was promoted to the first team in 2008, and was regarded as a rising star with high expectations that year. However, his career did not turn out to be as bright as expected. During his time with United, he made a total of 79 appearances, collecting 5 goals and 8 assists, and also experienced being sent out on loan a number of times. However, he was part of the team that won the Premier League title from 2012 to 2013, and was one of the contributors to the win.In 2015, Tonkawalli left United to join Ewarton, and a year later moved to Watford on a rent-to-own deal, where he has been playing ever since.
