Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea's contract is due to expire on June 30, yet there has been no progress so far in his talks with the club to extend his contract. According to New England Sports, the 32-year-old Spanish goalkeeper is considering accepting an olive branch from Saudi Arabian rivals Ainas - a lucrative 100 million euro (HK$853 million) annual deal that would see him join legendary shot-stopper Ronald Luong in uniform.

D'Aguilar, who currently earns 19.5 million pounds (HK$194 million) a year, is expected to accept a 40% pay cut to extend his contract, but the "loyal warrior", who has played for the Red Devils for 12 years, has reservations about this, and so the renewal of his contract is still pending. Rumor has it that United are ready to give up and plan to sign Inter Milan's goalkeeper Orano as D'Aguilar's replacement.

The latest report from New England Sports points out that Ainas took advantage of the situation and threw out a three-year 100 million euro annual salary contract to DiCchia, a very tempting contract that will most likely make it difficult for DiCchia to refuse, and a renewal of his contract seems to be a foregone conclusion.
