Binford FC announced the signing of Kim Ji-soo, a rising star from South Korea's K2 League side Seongnam Ilhwa, on Monday (26). The 18-year-old player, known as "Min-Ja Kim," shares his name with Jisoo, a member of the girl idol group Blackpink. Jisoo, who stands at 1.92 meters tall, is also a popular player in the South Korean soccer world, leading the South Korean U20 team to the quarterfinals of last year's World Youth Championships, and has attracted the attention of a number of European clubs because of his excellent physical condition and superb skills, which are similar to those of Kim Min-Jae. Binford's excellent negotiation resulted in the acquisition of this "super rookie".

Kim Ji-soo has signed a four-year plus one-year contract with Binford. She will start the new season with the B team, but is expected to be quickly promoted to the first team depending on her performance. The director of Brentford also spoke highly of her joining the team, describing her as a "super newcomer".

It's worth noting that the addition of Kim Jisoo not only breathes new life into Binford, but also brings new buzz to her namesake idol, Jisoo. The young player's future is certainly something to look forward to.
