Insider sources have revealed that Uruguayan soccer superstar Luis Suarez, 36, unable to endure the severe pain in his knee, has submitted an application for a release from his Brazilian first division team, Gammeo, with the intention of ending his illustrious 18-year career early.
Suarez has long suffered from a right knee injury, and the pain has recently intensified and has seriously interfered with his family life. Therefore, he decided to Gammeo request for termination of contract, early farewell to the green field. It is worth mentioning that Suarez, who has played for Ajax, Liverpool, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and other top giants, only joined Gammeo in December last year, and both sides signed a two-year contract. As per the contract, he still has a year and a half left on his deal, but the Gambio club is exploring the possibility of accepting the termination of his contract.
