Recently, rumors have been buzzing about Saudi giants Etihad's intention to bring in Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-min for a whopping HK$510 million. In response to this huge offer, Son Heung-min himself finally broke his silence and firmly stated, "Money is not a priority for me."

In an international friendly match not long ago, South Korea played El Salvador to a 1-1 draw. Facing a super-high annual salary offer from the Etihad, Son Heung-min said bluntly, "For me, what matters is the pride that comes from playing football and competing in my favorite league. There are still many things waiting for me to accomplish in the Premier League and I will continue to show my strength at Tottenham."

Son Heung-min also mentioned that former South Korean footballer Ki Sung-young had publicly stated that the South Korean captain would not be joining a Chinese Super League side, no doubt suggesting that he himself had no intention of seeking development in Saudi Arabia.
