In the middle of summer, Manchester United is planning a "bloodbath" in the soccer world, with a number of substitute players leaving the team. According to the Daily Mail, midfielder Fite, a 30-year-old Brazilian international, has been offered as much as 20 million pounds (about 200 million Hong Kong dollars), and his figure has attracted the covetousness of London team Fulham.
Back in 2018, United had acquired Fite from Sacta for a massive £52 million (around HK$520 million), however his performances were never satisfactory. With the addition of new stars such as Casimiru and Kirsten Allison, Fite's playing time has been drastically reduced. Last season, despite making 56 appearances, he started only 23 games. Given his limited role in the team and the fact that he has only one year left on his contract, United are determined to sell him as soon as possible in order to raise funds to help manager Tannhäuser in his search for his favorite talent.
