The 32-year-old Manchester United goalkeeper Dikia, whose contract is due to expire at the end of the month, has recently faced a wave of high-paying offers. A Saudi Arabian club had thrown a sky-high contract at him in an attempt to poach him to the Middle East, however, the goalkeeper stood firm and chose to take a pay cut to extend his contract with Manchester United, vowing to wear the gown again for the club.

Since Crowe's departure, Dickia has become the top paid player in the Manchester United squad, earning a whopping £375,000 a week. Recently, Saudi Arabia has launched a silver bullet attack on the European soccer market, with rumors that Tottenham goalkeeper Lloris has accepted a £300,000-a-week deal. In comparison, Dickia has been offered a lucrative £500,000-a-week deal by the Saudi side, but none of this temptation has swayed him.

According to talkSPORT radio, Dikia did not hesitate to turn down an offer and lucrative salary from Saudi Arabia after winning the award for the best goalkeeper in the Premier League this season, as he chose to extend his contract with Manchester United. The extension will see his weekly salary reduced to £200,000, a decision that fully reflects his loyalty and love for United.
