In the early hours of Thursday morning (25th), the drums of the final of the Coppa Italia will be beating, and the top match between Fiorentina and Inter Milan will be staged. According to the Italian media, Inter Milan's coach Szymon Nsaki will send his experienced deputy goalkeeper Handan Lovic to guard the goal in the final, as a tribute to the 38-year-old veteran who has played for Inter Milan for 11 years.

Since joining the club in 2012, Handanovic has been a loyal player for Inter Milan and has been the team's first choice goalkeeper for the past 10 seasons, captaining the team for most of the time. However, last summer, Inter Milan signed Orona, and the 27-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper took Handanovic's place in the starting lineup.

Handanovic has only made 14 appearances this season, with a rare start in the first leg of the Coppa Italia quarterfinals against Zuyondas. However, he was suspended for the second leg due to a red card. Fortunately, he was able to make his comeback in the final. Schmonnien Nsaki still has faith in the Slovenian goalkeeper and decided to give him a regular appearance in the Coppa Italia final.
