Wolves came close to finishing bottom of the Premier League at the start of the season, but under the stewardship of Spanish sensation Lubidiku, the team's results have soared and they have managed to stay up. However, the former Spanish national team manager recently revealed that he did not realize that the club was facing the challenge of financial fairness policy when he accepted the offer. It is reported that after the league finale, Lubidiku will meet with the club's senior management, and the possibility of resignation cannot be ruled out.

In the past two transfer windows, Wolves invested more than £200 million (about HK$1.947 billion) in reinforcements, and eventually managed to stay up. But while discussing plans for next season, Lubidiku discovered a major problem: It was only in a meeting with the chairman that I learned that the club had a financial fairness policy problem, which I knew nothing about before I took office, and I hope to be able to solve this problem. In the Premier League, it is almost impossible to survive without investment.

Wolves' financial report last year showed a loss of £46.1 million (about HK$449 million). It is rumored that in order to improve the financial situation, the club plans to sell core players such as Rubin Neves, Adam Machaelle and Moteno in the summer. Lubidiku will be back in discussions with Wolves at the end of the season and may consider resigning if he fails to secure funds to strengthen the squad.
