Blues Chelsea are once again making waves in the transfer market as the summer draws closer. A series of players have departed, not the least of which is 27-year-old central midfielder Rolf Dostrok, who has been closely linked to AC Milan in transfer rumors. Chelsea, for their part, had firm expectations of a deal, offering as much as €25 million. However, Rolfszczuk himself has revealed the will to move, coupled with a series of Blues players sold, the market is oversupplied, the red and black army took the opportunity to pressure the price, intending to get more concessions from the hands of the Blues.

According to Italian journalist Daniele Longo, AC Milan extended an olive branch to Chelsea in October last year in the hope that Rolf Dzoker would join them. Chelsea's response was intriguing, as they felt that Rovdoslav played an important role in the team, but was not indispensable. It was this subtle attitude that set the stage for negotiations between the two sides.
