Tottenham Hotspur's striker Harry Carney broke the deadlock in Saturday's Premier League opener, but the team conceded three goals in a row in the second half to lose 1-3 at the feet of the Hornets' Brentford. The loss in their final home game of the season puts Spurs' European credentials in jeopardy, and it's a shame.
Spurs, who were looking to bid farewell to their home fans with a win, took control of the tempo from the start of the game and quickly established the advantage for their team after just eight minutes with a brilliant penalty stroke from Harry Carney. However, the team was not able to extend the lead any further after that. For Binford, despite top scorer Ayun Tony being suspended for eight months for alleged gambling and looking in a bad way in the first half, the team suddenly came out firing in the second half, with Mai Bio and Mome scoring twice and a great pass creating a scoring opportunity for Uniwesa, to seal a 3-1 victory.
