In England's top flight, Binford have been in stunning form recently and have been dubbed the "Premier League's Magic Division". Their goalkeeper David Laye has been particularly impressive and has attracted a lot of coveted attention from the giants. However, with just over a year left on his contract with the club and having refused to renew it, Binford seem ready to let him go. With the summer approaching, they are secretly approaching Freiburg goalkeeper Feligen with the intention of bringing him on board.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper is known for his superb footwork and has been selected for the Spanish national team since his promotion to the top flight with Binford. Tottenham Hotspur are rumored to be interested in him to replace Lloris, with Manchester United also eyeing him. David Laye also seems to be looking for a bigger platform, as he has repeatedly refused to extend his contract with Binford, and the club is planning to sell him in the summer to avoid being out of pocket in a year's time.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Binford are aware of the difficulty in retaining David Laye and have started looking for a replacement. Dutch goalkeeper Feligen, who plays for Freiburg, has become their prime target, with an expected transfer fee of up to £10 million (HK$98.9 million).
