Whenever Manchester United play at home, the boxes at the Old Trafford Stadium are always filled with the families of footballers. Recently, Maja Nilsson, the wife of Manchester United stalwart Viktor Dilov, had the audacity to reveal that she scoffed at the price of the box provided by Manchester United, calling it "disgustingly expensive". Nevertheless, the wives of the stars had to succumb to United and rent the boxes in order to save face.
Known for her sex appeal, Maja Nilsson has her own web show Life in the Stands in Sweden. She reveals, "Manchester United offer their players to rent boxes for an undisclosed fee, but it's really exorbitant. The worst part is that if you don't rent one, you're seen as a loser within the team. However, the boxes are really great with exclusive personal attendants."
Maja Nilsson, who has lived in the UK for many years, doesn't like to be called a 'WAG' (wife of a footballer), and believes that 'wife of a footballer' devalues her achievements. Maja Nilsson, who is a marketing expert, owns her own company, is also an author and presenter: "I'm tired of people belittling me, there's more to life than soccer!
