Recently, Brighton Football Club has nurtured a number of outstanding young players, such as Kaoru Sanfeltelt, Moses Scarcitto and Alex McAlexander, with its unique insight, and their names are rapidly gaining popularity in the transfer market. According to media reports, this summer, Brighton broke the mold by investing a huge sum of money - as much as £30 million (about HK$295 million) - to bring in 21-year-old Brazilian striker Zuopaedo from Championship side Walford. The young player's upside seems limitless.

Famous transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Brighton will soon be announcing the signing of Zuopodo. All the transfer formalities have been completed and Zuopetu passed his medical last week. The whopping £30million transfer fee sets a new record for the club, with the previous record for the highest transfer fee for a club being £20million in 2019 when Bristol City signed Adam Vesta.

Brighton's scouting team has been known for signing high-value players at low cost, for example, Japan international Kaoru Mitaka was bought for only £2.6 million, and now his value has soared to £35 million. The fact that Brighton have spared no expense in bringing in a striker this time around shows how much confidence they have in this new star.
