In 2019, Manchester United acquired 23-year-old England international Chaton Sinzu from Dormont for a whopping £73 million (about HK$720 million). However, the wing forward has not performed up to expectations and he himself is frustrated. German newspaper Bild revealed that Chaton Sinzou regretted becoming a Red Devil and wanted to return to Dortmund to save his soccer career.

Chayton Sinzou's 72 games at United yielded just 11 goals, a stark difference from the 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 games he scored at Dormont. He even missed out on the England squad for the final week of the last World Cup due to poor performances, and even suffered a "mental illness" and traveled to Holland at the end of the previous year to receive treatment and training before returning to United in February, but his form did not improve significantly.

It is reported that Chaton Sinzu has made a transfer request to Manchester United, and his agent has been in contact with Dormont's Director Kiel, most likely returning to his old employer Dormont. Given that Chaton Sinzu still has a 3-year contract, Manchester United is not willing to sell him at a low price, and Dormont can not afford to buy him back at a high price, Manchester United does not rule out the possibility of Sinzu rejoining Dormont in the form of a loan.
