Real Madrid's clash with Chelsea in the first leg of the Champions League last eight seemed to unveil the gap between the two top clubs at the competitive level. Although Real Madrid only led 2-0, their actual lead was much more than that.

Real Madrid's strength lies in its offensive and defensive qualities. With Yunisios' activity on the left flank and Lodi Gorgos' substitute performance on the right, their speed has Chelsea on the defensive. On the road, I expect their speed advantage to create a deadly threat on counter-attacks.

The Galaxy's threat isn't limited to the wings, with two world-class players in the midfield, Modigliani and Chios, controlling the tempo. At Stamford Bridge, Coach Anzilotti may choose to start Cao Yavani in order to boost the midfield dynamics. However, the midfield of my former hosts is not to be underestimated.

On the other hand, although Chelsea has a luxurious lineup of players, the frequent changes of manager and the introduction of a large number of new recruits have led to the team's failure to integrate into shape. Despite the presence of stars such as Tiago Schwarz, Ansel Fernandes and Nicolai Gendi, as well as attackers such as Zuofelix, the team lacks a tacit understanding, and its overall performance and efficiency in front of goal are not up to expectations.

So, will Real Madrid regret not being able to extend their lead in the first leg? Indeed, if Chelsea had broken the deadlock first, the game might have become more tense. But I believe that the Galacticos are better overall and they are expected to win on the road.
