After the stormy departure of leader Rogers at Leicester City, the team finally welcomes a new interim manager, Dean Smith, who will lead the team until the end of the season. The former Aston Villa boss has joined forces with Chelsea legend Terry as his deputy, immediately adding star power to the coaching team.

Dean Smith, 52, has a wealth of managerial experience, having been in charge of Wassall, Binford and Aston Villa, before being sacked by Championship side Norwich in December last year due to poor results under his leadership. However, in a surprise move, he has now been given the opportunity to coach a Premier League side. Dean Smith said, "It's great to be leading Lister City for the remainder of the season and despite the challenges, we have an experienced coaching team who know how to cope."

The most talked about addition to the Dein Smiches squad will be his two assistant coaches, Terry and Grisas Bia. 42-year-old Terry, who had an accomplished playing career, was Dein Smiches' deputy at Aston Villa between 2018 and 2021 and the two worked well together, and have been reunited to renew their relationship.

And 59-year-old Grisasbia, who played for Lister City for many years and saw the team win the Premier League title in 2016, was the right-hand man to leader Winnie Nyari. Grisasbia briefly served as Lister City's caretaker leader after Winnie Nyari was sacked and knows the team inside out. He and Dean Smith worked together at Villa, and the three of them share the same vision and look forward to this "iron triangle" being able to save the relegation crisis of Lester City.
