In last week's North American Professional Soccer League (USL) opener, both the Seattle Sounders and Real Salt Lake started the season with victories. Now, both teams are eager to continue that momentum, striving to win all of their two early season league games.

The Baymen relied on U.S. forward Jordan Morris in the last round of league play to

, swept the Colorado Rapids 4-0 in a perfect performance. This was especially valuable in the absence of Peruvian goal scorer Raul Redillas. New attacker Hiba also showed good strength, collecting a goal on his debut.

Midfielder Ludlow bagged all four of his team's goals in the game, and his golden left foot not only tore through the opposition defense, but also put a lot of pressure on the Real Salt Lake backline.

Although Real Salt Lake fell behind in the last round of the competition, they eventually turned back the Vancouver Whitecaps 2-1 thanks to consecutive goals scored by Zuston Kitt and Damien Kinerjee in the last 20 minutes. However, the team's top scorer from last season, Sergio Godua, left the team and the attacking power has significantly declined. Whether or not the team can succeed in the new season will largely depend on the goal-scoring ability of Shah Valienno, Andersen Zurio and Zustian Meilan.

As a former goalkeeper, I know a thing or two about forwards. I thought McMuff was outstanding and his defense with Zuston Kitt and Marcelo Schwarz was crucial. They will have to be at their best for this game, especially if Raul Rediaz is able to return from injury in time to make sure the Baywatch forwards are unable to play.

However, the Seattle Sounders have delighted their fans with a big win at home, and they are expected to win again at home tonight, beating Real Salt Lake.
