At a crucial time in United's race for fourth place, manager Tannhäuser is synchronizing his squad and updating it. According to inside sources, a number of players are set to be eliminated, with Westham FC already rubbing their hands and preparing to take over. They are interested in bringing in three of United's players, Harry Magouni, Marcus McTomini, and Anthony Madill, for a total estimated price of £65 million.
British soccer media Football Insider has revealed that Westham manager David Moyes has been closely monitoring Manchester United's every move and his top target is none other than captain Harry Magouni. The high-priced center back has been reduced to a substitute this season, and United intends to sell him at half price. Westham intend to press for a purchase price of £30 million.
Another acquisition for Moyes is midfielder Marcus McTomini, who was used as a replacement for the outgoing Dylan Rice. Having seen his appearances drastically reduced under the guidance of Tannhäuser, McTomini is likely to be sold this summer for around £20 million, which is within Westham's reach.
The last target is Anthony Madill, who was once a favorite of Tannhäuser but unfortunately, frequent injuries have made it difficult for him to play. With United likely to sign a new winger to replace him, there seems to be few ways out for Madill, who is estimated to cost £15 million, and a move to Westham seems the most appropriate option.
