English Premier League giants Liverpool suffered a setback in their quest for the top four, failing to close the gap on the top four with a 0-0 draw away to Crystal Palace on Sunday (26). The team known as the "Reds" hit the post and crossbar several times during the match, making them the team with the most hits in the English Premier League this season, and it seems that even luck has left them.

Liverpool were determined to clean up after their heavy defeat by Real Madrid in last week's UEFA Europa League match, and their morale was high. They created a number of chances on goal in the early stages of the game, with Diego Zuda's header hitting the post and bouncing out in the 22nd minute. Crystal Palace then settled down and started to counterattack, with Sanmar Dida taking advantage of a mistake by the Liverpool defense and hitting the crossbar.

In the second half, Liverpool came back into the game with Mohamed Sana hitting the crossbar with a clever shot from the right, and in the final stages Gap had a one-touch chance but shot wide. In the end, the two sides drew 0-0.

Opta data shows that Liverpool have hit the post or crossbar 14 times this season, leading the Premier League. After the match, leader Gopper tried to inspire the players: "In your eyes and in the eyes of the players, it may feel like we lost the game, but I don't think so. We are all used to excellent results in recent years, but this season won't be the most glorious in Liverpool's history. But whether you face it positively or negatively, the choice is yours."
