English Premier League (EPL) Leeds United
After a tumultuous period of coaching changes, a new leader, Chavi Garcia, has finally been welcomed. The 52-year-old Spanish manager, who was once in charge of Wakefield, led the team to an average of 1.18 points per game in the Premier League, ranking as the second highest scoring coach in Wakefield's Premier League era, and successfully helped the team to stay in the relegation. Now, he will face a new challenge and whether he can save the fortunes of Leeds United has become the focus of attention of the fans.
Chavi Garcia came out on top of a number of coaching candidates and ended up being the new leader of Leeds United. Club officials said they were delighted with the arrival of Chavigarcia and praised him for his extensive coaching experience. It is reported that Chavigarcia signed a "flexible contract" with Leeds United, so if the team's performance is still not improved in the near future, then the possibility of changing the coach still exists.
Chavi Garcia has had a rich and exciting managerial career, having coached a number of teams such as Osasina, Malaga, Valencia, Edsad, etc. In January 2018, he took over Wakeford on a temporary basis and led the team to an 11th place finish in the Premier League in the 2018/19 season, as well as a place in the EFL Cup final. In that season, he led the team to an average of 1.18 points per game, compared to Mashu's average of 1.08 points per game during his time in charge at Leeds United.
Leeds United are currently second from bottom in the Premier League, and Chavi Garcia will lead his side into a do-or-die battle for relegation when they host Southampton, who are also in the relegation zone, on Saturday night.
