With Portuguese soccer superstar Cron's move to Saudi Arabia's Ainas FC, he has been shining ever brighter. Following a four-goal haul in the last round of league matches, he once again showed his excellent assisting skills in Friday (17) evening's match, contributing two key assists, one of which was an incredibly accurate scalpel pass, to help Ainas narrowly beat Aitayawan 2-1 at home, despite not scoring a goal himself.

Cron didn't score himself, but his presence was still noticeable. Just 17 minutes into the match, the 38-year-old sent a precise long pass near midfield, creating a one-touch opportunity for teammate Galebi, who managed to score.

In the second leg of the match, Ainas was once tied at 1-1, but Cron once again stepped up to the plate and after a steal in the 78th minute, he didn't choose to shoot himself, but cleverly passed the ball to his better positioned teammate Abdulhamadou to help seal the win, 2-1.

Recall that the last time Cron contributed two assists in a single game, it was September 29, 2018, when he helped Juventus beat Napoli, 3-1.

After the match, netizens praised Cron's first goal pass as too good to be true, arguing that his passing and assisting abilities are nothing less than those of arch-rival Lionel Messi. There were even opinions that Cron is finally starting to transform and create more chances for his teammates, which is a great boon for both him and Ainas FC.
