Cavitryun's injury in the last round of matches was also the only substitution made by new Ewarton manager Dyche for the game, due to what is suspected to be an old hamstring injury that touched his hamstring. Dyche revealed in a recent interview that the 25-year-old England international will undergo further scans to determine if he is able to play

Looking back at Cavitryun's recent history, he made a name for himself in the 2020/21 Premier League season when he made 33 appearances and contributed 16 goals. However, since last season, he has been plagued by injury problems, making just 17 appearances and scoring 5 goals. So far this season, his performance is still not improving, with only 1 goal in 11 Premier League matches.
If Kavitryun is unable to play in the Merseyside Derby, it is expected that Ma'obi will take his place in the starting line-up.
